Cosmos host Tyson comes to Walla Walla in September

June 12, 2014

Neil deGrasse Tyson, the host of the award-winning show Cosmos, will give a talk Sept. 11 in Cordiner Hall on the Whitman College campus in Walla Walla.

Tyson is a prominent astrophysicist from New York. He was appointed by Pres. George W. Bush in 2001 to a 12-member commission that studied the future of the U.S. aerospace industry. That commission issued a report for Congress that contained recommendations that would promote a thriving future of transportation, space exploration and national security.

Tickets to the lecture are from $38 to $100 plus service fees. Tickets available online at www.mainstrstudios.com.
