Personnel and patients of Lourdes Medical Center, at 520 N 4th Ave. in Pasco, are evacuated out of the building from a reported gas leak as crews work to locate the souce of the leak on Tuesday.

Some patients were evacuated from Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after a pressure valve alerted staff to a potential problem with the hospital's natural gas. Officials confirmed the building was clear by 10 p.m. "Everybody is safe," said Melanie Johnston, Lourdes spokeswoman. The hospital was operating with backup diesel generators.
