Pasco School District offering free kids meals

The Pasco School District is offering the Simplified Summer Food Program for Children, a federally-mandated program that provides meals at no charge to attending children ages 18 and younger.

Meals will be provided Monday through Friday (unless otherwise noted) at the following sites and times:

Chiawana High School, 8125 W. Argent Road

-- June 11 to July 8: breakfast 7:30 to 7:45 a.m., lunch 11 to 11:30 a.m.

-- July 21 to Aug. 15: breakfast 7:30 to 7:45 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Pasco High School, 1108 N. 10th Ave.

-- June 16 to July 11: breakfast 7:30 to 8 a.m., lunch 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.

-- July 14 to 16: breakfast 8 to 8:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon.

New Horizons High School, 3110 W. Argent Road

-- June 16 to July 11: breakfast 7:30 to 7:45 a.m., lunch 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Memorial Park, 1520 W. Shoshone St.

-- June 11 to July 18: lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Ochoa Middle School, 1801 E. Sheppard St.

-- July 21 to Aug. 15: breakfast 7:30 to 7:45 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Stevens Middle School, 1102 N. 22nd Ave.

-- July 21 to Aug. 15: breakfast 7:30-7:45 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Mark Twain Elementary School, 1801 N. Road 40

-- Through July 2: breakfast 8:45 to 9 a.m., lunch 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. (Mondays through Thursdays only)

McGee Elementary School, 4601 Horizon Drive.

-- Through Aug. 8: breakfast 8:30 to 9 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon.

No meals will be served July 4.
