Letter: Enjoys sight of graceful windmills

June 10, 2014

Personally, I think that looking across the hills and seeing the windmills is quite interesting. They are much easier to put up and take down than nuclear plants or any other kind of power generation.

Because they are regional, they can be put where they are needed and removed when no longer needed. And I think the damage to the land is minimal. A trip to Jump Off Joe once was spooky -- the whine of the current and the lights were quite eerie. Windmills are graceful and I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed. But I may be the only one who thinks that way.
