By The Tri-City HeraldJune 9, 2014

A Kahlotus woman was one of two people injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon near Kittitas.

Mandy J. Roach, 22, of Kahlotus, and Maynard M. Larson, 71, of Ellensburg, were flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said the Washington State Patrol.

Roach, who was driving a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup at 3:30 p.m., failed to stop at a stop sign, the state patrol said. She collided with a 31-foot Fiesta motorhome driven by Larson, who was heading east on Vantage Highway, the state patrol said.

Roach was wearing a seat belt, but it is unknown if Larson was, the state patrol said.
