Fast Focus: 'Should cities ban pot businesses?' Such a bad idea

Pot in cities? That depends. Do you think your neighborhood would be made better with more bars in it? Are the highways you drive safer when DUIs are harder to prove?

One thing is for sure, since Washington has sided with Sen. John C. Calhoun's policy of nullification (states have the right to "opt out" of federal law), counties and cities have the right to nullify state law.

Marijuana is the most insidious drug because of the insistence of those dependent on "green soma" that it's harmless. We need to hold the line.
