2 hurt in collision near Dayton

— Two people were taken to Dayton General Hospital after a rear-end collision two miles west of Dayton on Highway 12 on Friday.

A van driven by Leo Fletcher, 67, of Quakertown, Wash., slowed for traffic and was hit by the car behind it driven by Kristina Davis, 28, of Dayton, at 2:30 p.m., said the Washington State Patrol.

Davis and her passenger, William Sandefur, 32, of Walla Walla, were hurt, according to the state patrol. Their conditions were not available Friday night.
