Fiber arts festival planned June 14-15 in Moscow

The Palouse Fiber Arts Festival is June 14-15 at the 1912 Center in Moscow, Idaho.

The festival features workshops taught by Mary Jane Mucklestone, Sarah Swett, Amelia Garripoli, Jacey Boggs, Lynn Ruggles and Mary Scott Huff.

Classes will include indigo dyeing, weaving, spinning for drop spindles and wheels, colorwork knitting, color theory, wool combing and steeking.

Cost for each workshop $55. The festival also features a fiber market where visitors can peruse a plethora of fiber art pieces, many of which will be for sale.

The hours are from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days. Admission is free. For more information, go to
