Pasco apartment hit by gunfire

June 1, 2014

— A Pasco apartment was the target of gun shots about 10 p.m. Saturday.

A woman and four small children were in the apartment in the 1500 block of West Yakima Street at the time of the shooting, but were not injured.

The apartment had been hit multiple times and that the shots were fired from an alley to the south of the complex, according to police. Officers found and collected spent shell casings.

Police believe the shooting is gang related. Anyone with information about the assault should call 509-545-3510.

More details are expected to be released Monday.
