Kennewick man injured in head-on collision near Prescott

— A Kennewick man was injured after his car crossed the center line on Highway 124 about nine miles west of Prescott and hit another car head-on.

Dale A. Witwer II, 35, of Kennewick, was driving his Dodge Durango westbound when it crossed the center line and hit a Mini Cooper at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The driver of the Mini Cooper, Chelsey B. Wells, 24, of Yakima , was not injured, according to Washington State Patrol. However, her car was totaled.

Witwer was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, where he was in a satisfactory condition Saturday evening.

His passengers, Bryson Witwer, 11, of Kennewick, and Aaron Witwer, 9, of Yakima, were not injured. Everyone was wearing seat belts.

Witwer was charged in connection with crossing the center line.
