Stanfield, Ore., church celebrates 90 years

STANFIELD, Ore. -- Crossroads Community Church is planning a 90th year celebration Sunday through June 8 in a tent behind its newly remodeled building at 350 N. Sherman in Stanfield.

This year marks the 90th year that Crossroads Community has served as a Pentecostal church in the community, and the fourth tent crusade the church has put on in the past 30 years.

This year's event speakers include the assistant superintendent of the Oregon Assemblies of God, Evangelist Ormel Chapin, Pastor Bob Wolfe and Pastor Dale Zumwalt. There will be several live bands and special music during the celebrations, and numerous surprise guests will be announced.

Service times will be at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. each Sunday. Nightly services will begin at 6:30 p.m. from Sunday to June 8. Call 541-449-3434 or 541-449-1251 for more information.
