A two-vehicle crash Friday morning at a Kennewick intersection sent one woman to the hospital and injured another man.

Janet S. Doakes, 57, was taken to Trios Health in Kennewick after the Mercury Mariner she was driving crashed into a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 395 and Seventh Avenue, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Doakes, of Kennewick, was driving north on 395 when she failed to stop at the intersection and hit the truck driven by Miles S. Morris, 59, of Kennewick, state patrol said. Morris was injured but refused treatment at the scene.
