Letter: Community service

May 30, 2014

With summer coming around, I find that many teens and college students are stuck at home with nothing to do. The only thing to keep young adults busy during the summer are jobs, and even this only occupies a minuscule part of week. What about the rest of our free time?

I feel that community service need to be mandatory to make our community better. This will not only help teens manage time but also give teens a chance to learn how to better our community. So why not make the community better for everyone?
