Update: Three Walla Walla students killed in rollover crash

Tri-City HeraldMay 25, 2014

— Three students at Walla Walla High School were killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Mill Creek Road.

The three teens, two males and a female, were pronounced dead at the scene, said John Turner, Walla Walla County sheriff.

The teens were identified as Aidan Boede, 17, Uziel Bermoy, 16 and Athena Bentley, 15, according to Coroner Richard Greenwood. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday morning.

The initial investigation shows speed was a factor in the crash, Turner said in a news release.

“Whether or not any other factors were involved in this accident are still under investigation,” the release said.

Deputies and fire personnel responded to crash at 3900 Mill Creek Road at 3 a.m., Turner said. They determined the car rolled and no other vehicles were involved.

"Our prayers, deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased," Turner said.
