The answer is no. There already is a problem with kids riding with no helmets, going as fast as they can and not stopping at stop signs. They go up and down the road and out in the field as fast as they can while waiting for the school bus -- they are there to pick up a sibling from the bus stop. Then there are two kids on an ATV with no helmets, going back up a dirt road. This happens in Benton County now, so what do you think is going to happen when it is OK to have them on the road?
Rules will be in place, but parents already allow their kids to do this, what good are the rules going to be? They already are breaking the law. What we truly need is more forest access/ATV parks and a better road to Juniper Dunes so that when we do want to ride, we can.
