Motorcyclist dies after accident in West Richland

A 50-year-old man died Friday afternoon after he lost control of his motorcycle on Bombing Range Road in West Richland.

Witnesses report Mike Johnson appeared to be having difficulty controlling the motorcycle before the accident at about 12:24 p.m., according to West Richland police.

Johnson, of West Richland, was transported to Richland’s Kadlec Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Witnesses report Johnson was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to police.
