Fishhook Park visitors should bring own water

Tri-City HeraldMay 21, 2014

Visitors to Fishhook Park on the Snake River need to bring their drinking water with them.

The water at the park is contaminated with nitrates and is not safe to drink, particularly for infants and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant.

The park includes a swimming beach, a picnic area, a camping area and boat ramp. It is 18 miles east of Burbank on Highway 124 and then four miles north on Fishhook Park Road.
