Country Mercantile to break ground on new store in south Richland

The Country Mercantile will break ground at 11 a.m. Wednesday for its new store in the Badger Mountain South development in Richland.

The 14,000-square-foot store will be built at the Veneto Villaggio wine and retail center.

The store will have an artisan bakery and carry gelato, ice cream, specialty gourmet foods, local produce, jams, salsa and hand-made chocolate, along with market staples.

Badger Mountain South is near the Interstate 82 and Dallas Road interchange. To attend the ground-breaking, enter off Dallas Road and follow the signs.
