CBC baseball earns No. 2 seed to NWAACC tourney

Shawn Powers struck out six batters in a complete-game 6-0 win over Columbia Basin College to give Treasure Valley the East Region tournament championship and the No. 1 seed to the NWAACC championships beginning Thursday in Longview.

The Hawks managed just six hits off Powers but still grabbed the No. 2 seed to NWAACCs, where they will open against Pierce at 7:35 p.m. Thursday.

Dalton Johnson, Tucker Ibabao and Jesse Wantland each had two hits for CBC.
