— A 19-year-old man was arrested in Kennewick early Thursday morning after he and two other men allegedly assaulted and robbed a 32-year-old man.

Kennewick police detectives were in the 600 block of north Arthur Street when they saw Adrian Montejano and Joshua Korlin, both of Kennewick, in an altercation just after midnight, a release said.

An investigation revealed Montejano and two other Hispanic males confronted Korlin and assaulted him, striking him numerous times and taking his wallet. Korlin had abrasions to his face, head and arms following the incident.

The other two assailants fled when detectives arrived and Montejano was seen throwing Korlin’s wallet to the ground when the detectives approached.

Montejano was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery. The other two men involved in the attack haven’t been identified.
