Temperature continues to rise in Tri-Cities

The temperature in the Tri-Cities could climb into the low 90s Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Normal highs for mid-May are about 74 degrees.

Temperatures will be cooling after today, with highs back in the mid 70s this weekend through the middle of next week.

Friday should be breezy with gusts up to 22 mph. A slight chance of thunderstorms is forecast for Sunday and Sunday night.
