DOE honors CH2M Hill for health, safety

The Department of Energy has honored Hanford contractor CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Co.

CH2M Hill received Star status in DOE's Voluntary Protection Program. According to a DOE news release, the department award Star status to companies that demonstrate outstanding cooperative efforts among employees, management and DOE to continue to improve safety and health programs.

CH2M Hill had received Merit status, the second highest of DOE's three levels of recognition, since 2011. Star is the highest status.
