Letter: Kennewick plans

May 13, 2014

I wonder if Kennewick city planners have given any serious thought to turning the area behind Bunch Finnigan and El Chapala into a nice park. The footpath is already there; the nice big trees are there.

I think one of the most peaceful places in the Tri-Cities area is Howard Amon Park in Richland because it is well maintained and has a lot of large well-trimmed trees with nice play and picnic areas. The Kennewick area could be a real benefit to the area if they are planning on someday putting condos in that part of town.
