Man armed with machete robs Pasco store

The suspect in an armed robbery Sunday night at a Pasco store.


— A masked man armed with a machete robbed a Pasco convenience store Sunday night of an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man came into King City Truck Stop around 11:30 p.m. on the 2100 block of East Hillsboro Street, police said. He demanded cash from the clerk working at the counter.

The suspect was wearing what appears to be a bandana over his face and a dark sweatshirt with a skull. He took the cash and left the area in a vehicle from a nearby parking lot.

Police are asking for the public’s help to try and identify the suspect.

He is described as 5-foot-8, 170 pounds and was wearing all black clothing, police said.

If anyone has information about the incident they are asked to call Pasco police at 509-545-3510 or 911.
