Police: Speeding DUI driver rolls car on I-82 near Prosser

May 11, 2014

— A 43-year-old Grandview man is suspected of driving under the influence Saturday night before crashing and rolling his car on Interstate 82 just east of Prosser, the Washington State Patrol said.

Saengkham Phaengpha was driving a 2011 Honda Civic west on I-82 just before midnight when he entered the median, rolled several times and came to rest facing west in the eastbound lanes, the state patrol said.

The state patrol said Phaengpha was driving too fast for conditions and is suspected of driving under the influence.

He was taken to PMH Medical Center in Prosser with unknown injuries.
