Tri-City area highway lanes, ramps to be closed

State Department of Transportation crews will close several lanes and ramps on area highways in the coming week.

Highway 240 will see several ramp closures for crack sealing. The ramp from the Highway 395 blue bridge to westbound Highway 240 will be closed from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

The ramp from Highway 240 westbound to Interstate 182 in Richland will be closed from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The westbound off ramp at Edison Street in Kennewick will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday.

The Interstate 182 bridges over the Columbia River will also see lane closures for inspections. The left lane of the westbound bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. The left lane of the eastbound bridge will then be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday . Traffic in both directions will see the right lanes closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.

Also on I-182, drivers will see the right lane closed from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday near the Road 68 interchange in Pasco. An earlier collision is being investigated.
