A Prosser man was among the three injured in a two-car crash outside Toppenish late Saturday morning, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Lori A. Jim, 32, of Toppenish, was southbound on north Meyers Road in a Buick Regal with Michael M. Yallup, 31, of Wapato. She had stopped at the intersection with Highway 22 about 10:25 a.m., said the state patrol.

When Jim entered the intersection, she struck a Chrysler 300 driven by Johnie O. White, 71, of Prosser, who was westbound on Highway 22, the state patrol said.

The vehicles were totaled. Jim, Yallup and White were taken to Yakima Memorial Hospital for treatment. White was transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His status was not immediately available.

The crash is still under investigation but drugs or alcohol might be involved.
