— Police are seeking information on a suspect who reportedly left a burning Molotov cocktail in a Richland street.

A passerby saw the glass container with flammable liquid inside on Wednesday near Davison Avenue and Newcomer Street, police said. The person was able to put the fire out.

A witness saw a male, between the ages of 14 and 18, who may have lit the device on fire, police said. He rode off on a bicycle west on Newcomer.

The suspect could have burns on his left arm or hand, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Det. Dean Murstig at 509-942-7798.
