Kennewick Masons to hold pancake breakfast

Tri-City HeraldMay 7, 2014

Kennewick Masons will have a pancake breakfast Saturday to raise at least $1,000 for its Bikes for Books program.

Lodge No. 153 hands out 32 bikes a year to schools and to branches of the Mid-Columbia Libraries as an incentive for kids to read, a release said.

Proceeds from the breakfast at the lodge headquarters at 601 W. Sixth Ave. will support the program. Admission is $7 per person and small children eat for free.

The menu will include biscuits and gravy and sausage and eggs. There will also be a bike sale and raffle for a bike.

For ticket information, call 531-8440 or 591-2875.
