Arc of Tri-Cities to hold free 'Sibshops' event in Richland

Tri-City HeraldMay 7, 2014

The Arc of Tri-Cities will hold a free two-day workshop for brothers and sisters who have a special needs sibling.

"Sibshops" also will benefit parents, educators, care providers, or anyone who wants to more fully understand the role that typically-abled children play in the lives of their siblings. The workshops will offer a mixture of games, new friends and discussion activities designed to honor and increase siblings' self-esteem.

The workshops run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at The Arc of Tri-Cities, 1455 Fowler St. in Richland. To register or to learn more, call 783-1131 Ext. 102.
