Free safety fair planned in Richland

A free safety fair for kids and families is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Safe Kids Saturday will include information on topics ranging from healthy eating, water safety and fingerprinting to how to call 911.

A Richland Fire Department ambulance and fire truck will be on hand, along with a MedStar helicopter.

Free children's bike helmets will be provided courtesy of Seattle Children's Hospital, and a bike rodeo is planned, along with car seat checks.
