Some Pasco schools plan kindergarten roundups

Pasco parents can start registering their soon-to-be kindergartners for class at some Pasco schools.

The schools will offer kindergarten roundup events throughout May to get students enrolled and prepare families for the fall, a release said.

Registration packets are available at each school and students do not have to register at their school's event, district officials said students should be signed up as soon as possible.

Here are the dates and times for Pasco's other schools:

-- Captain Gray Early Learning Center, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 14, at 1102 N. 10th Ave.

-- James McGee Elementary School, 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 15 at 4601 Horizon Drive.

-- Virgie Robinson Elementary School, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 20 at 125 S. Wehe St.

-- Whittier Elementary School, 5 to 6 p.m. May 20 at 616 N. Wehe St.

-- Edwin Markham Elementary School, 1:45 to 3 p.m. May 21 at 4031 Elm Road.

-- Rosalind Franklin STEM Elementary School, 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 22. The school is currently being built and will have its roundup at McGee, 4601 Horizon Drive.

-- Maya Angelou Elementary School, 6 to 7 p.m. May 28 at 6001 Road 84.

-- Livingston Elementary School's event was earlier this week.
