Jonathan Franke, 5, learns to fish for the first time with his dad, Eric, at the Columbia Park Pond in Kennewick. Youth ages 5-14 can participate in Kids Fishing Day at the pond Saturday during four different sessions at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.. The pond will be stocked with more than 5,000 trout. Cost is $10 and the registration deadline is Wednesday. Sign up at www.tricitieskoe.org.
