Mid-Columbia students releasing salmon into rivers

Students from Edwin Markham Elementary and Columbia Elementary in Burbank released their fall chinook salmon into the Snake River on Tuesday as part of salmon celebration sponsored by the Franklin Conservation District. Benton and Yakima county schools are having similar fish-related events in Columbia Park in Kennewick this week.
