Richland lineman flown to hospital after injury

A Richland Energy Services journeyman lineman was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being injured April 29 while working on an electrical distribution system.

The injury wasn't associated with electricity, the city said in a statement.

The worker, whose name wasn't released, reportedly is recovering at Harborview.

"Our thoughts are with the employee and his family at this time," the city statement said.

The city is investigating the incident. No other information was provided.
