Mastersingers perform May 9-11 in Kennewick

Mid-Columbia Mastersingers will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. May 9-10 and at 3 p.m. May 11 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, at the corner of 10th Avenue and Olympia Street in Kennewick.

The ensemble will sing a new commission by Chicago composer Paul Carey, who recently finished a weeklong guest artist residency with the Mastersingers. The group also performs a selection of Carey's other work as well as music by composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Admission to the concert is $20 in advance or $22 at the door. Students are free. Find tickets at the Mastersingers website, www.midcolumbiamastersingers.org.
