Members of the public are invited to enter the Tri-Cities International Fantastic Film Festival's 48-hour Film Challenge, a free event which challenges local youth to "Make a movie in two days and be a legend forever!"

Participants and their teams will meet at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Academy of Children's Theatre, 213 Wellsian Way in Richland, where teams will receive instructions, required movie elements and be an assigned movie genre.

Teams have 48 hours to create a film, and will return at 5:30 p.m. May 11 to the ACT facility with their final product.
