PREP TENNIS: Van Eaton, Burns earn title at Capital invite

Kamiakin’s Emma Van Eaton and Sarah Burns teamed up to win the No. 2 girls doubles consolation championship Saturday at the Capital Invitational in Boise.

The Braves’ top boys doubles team of Ben Welch and Matt Inman reached the quarterfinals but lost to Wenatchee.

Idaho Falls won the Invite with a team score of 320. Hermiston was 20th with 159 points, and Kamiakin was 23rd with 141 points.
