Sexual violence prevention workshop planned in Kennewick

Tri-City HeraldApril 26, 2014

The Support, Advocacy and Resource Center is sponsoring a free workshop for parents in communicating information and skills to their children to keep them from becoming victims of sexual violence.

The workshop will include information on appropriate language to use when speaking with children about the topic. It will also present information on methods offenders use to target, select and groom victims.

This workshop is for parents, and children should not attend. The class is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Southgate Elementary in Kennewick. The workshop is free. However, for space considerations, register at http://communityed.ksd.org.
