Sex trafficking panel, presentation planned in Pasco

Tri-City HeraldApril 26, 2014

Members of the public are invited to learn about the efforts to expose and eradicate sex trafficking within our community at a documentary presentation and panel discussion at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Byron Gjerde Center at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.

CBC is working with Tri-Cities Soroptimist Against Trafficking to hold an event that will feature a screening of, Here? Sex Trafficking in Our Community!, as well as a panel discussion and a re-enactment of a recent case.

Law enforcement, advocates, community members and educators will provide insight.

For more information about the event, call Lura Powell at 509-628-3336.
