Ferguson leads Prosser track in dual-meet loss

Zack Ferguson of Prosser won the 100 meters in 11.19 seconds and topped the long jump field with a leap of 19 feet, 11 inches in an 83-62 CWAC dual-meet loss at West Valley. Ferguson also ran a leg on the Mustangs’ winning 4x100-meter relay team.

On the girls’ side, Prosser didn’t have any individual winners in a 105-36 loss to the Rams, but freshman Jamie Fassler recorded a personal best in the 100 meters at 13.3 seconds.

CWAC meet at Grandview: Jamila Shafer won the discus (108-7) and the javelin (103-5) to lead the Greyhounds in a duals meet Thursday.

On the boys side, Steven Razo was the lone Grandview winner, grabbing gold in the 300 hurdles (42.3).
