Free health fair in Prescott planned

A health fair is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Vista Hermosa Community Center, 1111 Fishhook Park Road, Prescott.

The public event is free and will include information on chronic illnesses such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as on the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, dental care, children's health, domestic violence, health insurance, drug and alcohol abuse, a news release said.

Vista Hermosa Foundation, Snake River Housing and United Health Care are sponsoring the event, which also will include free cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, vision and body mass index screenings.
