Letter: Ki-Be Superintendent Wade Haun qualified for job

April 24, 2014

Kiona-Benton City School District Superintendent Wade Haun possesses the extensive background, management experience and applicable education that qualify and justify his appointment to the position of superintendent. Wade brings managerial skills and impeccable character to the job, which inspire confidence and trust in staff and students alike.

Haun was elected to the school board by a nearly three-to-one majority over his predecessor. After serving on the school board, Haun openly accepted the position of superintendent fully knowing the district was fraught with turmoil, distrust and pending legal actions. With loyalty, honor and a willing heart, Haun has begun to guide the district toward a fruitful future.

Haun strictly adheres to the confidentiality, regulations, rules and codes that govern his position. There is no leaked information, sharing of confidential matters or rash decisions. Haun is acting with both educated thought and prudent purpose in his leadership position.

Given an equitable opportunity to run the Kiona-Benton City School District, Haun will restore the proper morals, values and integrity that our district, community, students and staff are owed. I am proud, excited and honored to serve under such a Godly man as Wade Haun.
