Police try to identify hit-and-run driver

KENNEWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Kennewick police are asking for the public’s help to identify a driver involved in a hit and run.

A male driving a mid-90s, gold Honda Accord hit a pole Wednesday around 3:30 p.m. on 16th Avenue and Rainier Street, police said. The suspect fled following the collision.

Witnesses say the man was wearing coveralls and a gray sweatshirt, police said. He had a brown and white boxer named “Bruce” with him.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Kennewick police at 509-628-0333.
