Selah motorcyclist loses control while speeding on Highway 397

— A Selah woman laid her motorcycle down Saturday afternoon when she lost control while speeding on Highway 397.

Paulette Bayle, 63, was injured in the 3:13 p.m. crash and taken to Trios Hospital in Kennewick for treatment.

A Washington State Patrol report said Bayle was northbound on 397 at Interstate 82, two miles south of Kennewick, when she lost control of her 2007 Harley-Davidson FLHX.

Bayle was citing for driving too fast for the conditions, the state patrol said. She was wearing a helmet at the time.
