Friends of Mid-Columbia Libraries' Giant Book Sale planned April 24-27

The Friends of the Mid-Columbia Libraries' Giant Book Sale is April 24-27 and teachers will get a first crack at the offerings.

Friends members and library staff will be able to join teachers for a first look April 24. The public sale opens April 25 and runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., then from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26 and from 1 to 3 p.m. April 27.

Only cash or check will be accepted. Like-new hardcover books will be available for $1 and paperbacks for a quarter. Proceeds will go to programs funded by the Friends at the library district's branches.
