Columbia Basin College to hold SkillsUSA competition

Eight colleges will be at Columbia Basin College on Friday to participate in the 2014 SkillsUSA Washington State Leadership and Skills Competition.

Students will compete in categories ranging from computer programming and welding to job interviewing and precision machining.

The competition is from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Center for Career and Technical Education on the Pasco campus. Winners will qualify for the national competition in Kansas City, Mo., in June.
