Letter: Roadside rescue

April 16, 2014

We are writing this letter to express our thanks to Ryan Weld and the staff at the Tire Factory in Pasco.

We experienced a flat tire on Highway 395 just two miles north of Pasco. Our first encounter was with a young man driving a white pickup truck who stopped to help us. He was just eager to help those stranded on the highway. He directed us to the nearest tire company, which was the Tire Factory. A big thanks to that young man whose name we don't know.

At 4:30 p.m. on a Friday, Ryan made a dozen or more calls from the Tire Factory to try to find us a matching tire. He was bound and determined to see us back on our way to Portland. After more than two hours of trying, he successfully mounted our tire so we could be on our way. We left with the feeling of overwhelming gratitude at the kindness and service we received.

There are many wonderful people in this world and we were fortunate to have met several in the Pasco area.
