Letter: Help at hand

My daughter and I were struck by a truck while crossing the street near Safeway last week. We were lucky: no fewer than three nurses saw the incident and came immediately to help. They took charge of the situation, made sure 911 was called and kept everything calm until the ambulances arrived.

I never got their names, but would like to express my deep gratitude to these three gracious, competent women for applying their training to a situation where they were desperately needed. I'm at Richland Life Care Center and would love to thank them in person.
