Softball: Hanford tops Hermiston in nonleague action

April 15, 2014

Lexi Alaniz drove in two runs while Hanford pitchers Kadi Patterson and Kayla De La Paz held Hermiston to just four hits in the Falcons’ 6-3 nonleague win over the Bulldogs in Richland.

“We played well today. Hermiston is a team that finished second at state last year, and our pitchers did a good job keeping kids off balance,” Falcons coach Lesley Guereca said. “They worked hard to let our defense to the work.”

Makenna Hall had a well-rounded day for Hanford with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored.
